Badia a Passignano 2023

The 2023 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Badia a Passignano is aromatic, fresh and nuanced. Stylistically, it is the most changed wine in the Antinori range. Once quite opulent and bombastic, today the Badia is a mid-weight, fruity Chianti Classico built more on freshness than opulence. I find the 2023 a bit light for the year, but it is undeniably attractive.
