Barolo Cerretta 2022

The 2022 Barolo Cerretta pours a bright ruby hue and is somewhat reserved on opening with aromas of redcurrants, strawberries, toasted incense, fresh sage, and sweet earth. The palate is medium-bodied and vibrant, offering bright raspberry fruit, refreshing acidity, and fine tannins that give the wine a Burgundian sense of finesse while remaining clearly Barolo in character. It was destemmed and fermented in stainless steel before aging in large barrels. Drink this outstanding Barolo over the coming 15 years. Drink 2027-2042.
