A sculpted red, with a dark core of cassis, black plum and mulberry fruit flavors layered with fine-grained tannins. Tightly meshed at first, opening to reveal base notes of tar, espresso and black olive, along with a fragrant thread of bay leaf, paprika and pipe smoke that lingers on the firm finish.
