From a low-yielding and exceptional year, the 2023 Cabernet Franc is beautifully perfumed in wild berry fruit and fresh herb, full-bodied with balanced acidity. From Quintessence Block 19 and blended with 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, it spent 20 months in 100% new French oak and has a seamlessly creamy texture of tremendous polish and finesse. There’s freshness beneath the power. This is an outstanding varietal wine from winemaker Stephanie Cohen and a showcase for Red Mountain Cab Franc, savory, herbal, and complete.
