Collector’s Society Syrah 2023

Full-bodied, densely concentrated, and highly spiced, the 2023 Syrah comes from mostly estate vineyard blocks and was blended with 4% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging over 20 months in 43% new French oak has helped tame its more feral instincts of blood and iron and black licorice, savory and densely packed with supple tannin. The coolness of the season has helped to accentuate its darker profile in wonderful ways. Only 170 cases were produced. A truly gorgeous wine, hold and drink 2030-2043.
