Haras de Pirque
After visiting and falling in love with the Maipo Valley area of Chile, Marchese Piero Antinori, Honorary President of Marchesi Antinori, one of the oldest Italian family-owned fine wine producers, decided to produce a distinctive red blend together with the Matte family, former owner of the Haras de Pirque estate. After creating the estate’s flagship wine, Albis, the partnership successfully progressed as Marchesi Antinori took over the vineyards and winemaking operations in 2014 until the full acquisition in 2017.
