The Vineyards
Soils in this area are clay based with a veining of limestone and sand and a high content of fine gravel, both in the form of round pebbles originating from rivers, and Galestro and Alberese stones, providing excellent groundwater resources to the vines even during seasons that experience extreme heat and drought.
